»I have been living in the camp for two years now and I am in the eighth grade now. For me it is particularly difficult in school when I quarrel with friends.
The most beautiful thing at school is when I see a teacher coming to me and offering me help.
The best subject for me is science and math is the subject which is most difficult. All the teachers treat me equally well and I don't have a favorite teacher.
I'm missing most my old friends. I also remember my old school in Sinjar, my neighbors and my old village. I always connect our old village with the smell of our tandoor*.
I hope the Peshmerga will expel Daesh from Sinjar, because Daesh has neither dignity nor honor, since they have captured and killed our sisters and brothers.«
