kocho-village-sinjar-iraq

The village of Kocho in Sinjar, once inhabited by around 1700 people, is now a ghost village, so far no survivors have returned.
The village Kocho is surrounded by villages that were inhabited by Arabs. Many of these Arabs have supported or even participated in Daesh's attack on Kocho.
Today, these Arab villages are largely uninhabited. Every person who returns to these villages is subject to a security check.
