What initially looks like harmless terrain is actually a mined area. Only a small broken off sign (left, directly in front of the power pole) indicates the deadly danger hidden in the ground.
The United Nations report that the 500 kilometer front line in Eastern Ukraine has become one of the most heavily mined areas in the world.
Children in the war zone must pay particular attention when playing, running around or on their way to school and they can not move freely in unfamiliar or overgrown area.
