»I see the consequences of the economic collapse in my family, due to the financial restrictions it has become more difficult to raise a family. We used to live by the slogan We just do it but now there are less possibilities.
The most important changes following the crash I can see are in the health sector, for example the waiting list relating to a doctors appointment or for an operation has increased.
I think, the Icelanders haven't learnt enough from their mistakes and sooner or later the things can happen again. I don't have faith in the politicians but our mayor Jón Gnarr is wonderful. He is somebody, who really takes human rights seriously and for this reason he is an example for other politicians.«
