»This summer I am going to get an unlimited contract, as I work at an international company. Everybody is affected by the crisis, I have just been lucky to have found this job in good time. Many of my friends cannot travel anymore or make any further plans. I feel that people have become more supportive of each other, as well as more creative, e.g. they now exchange guitar lessons for language lessons etc.— Beatriz, 25 years old, does an apprenticeship as a consultant
I perceive the crisis within a global context as something happening due to the banking system and politics. I have some friends in Germany, earning more money for a similar job to mine, but I would rather stay near my family. What I am really lacking is being acknowledged and respected for my work.«
