»I still have six siblings and my mother. My father died in the war.
We fled two and a half years ago and I could only take my clothes.
I was very frightened at the beginning of the war, because I saw the killing and torture.
After school I go home and take care of the family. With my friends I'm talking about the bombings in different places.
I would like to play with my friends, but I'm still afraid of the bombings.
I am happy that I'm now here with my family and I dream of going back and of rebuilding Syria.
I would like to be an engineer. I last celebrated my birthday in Syria in 2011. I hope that we will have a large, unified Islamic nation.«
