»I am from Afghanistan and live with my three sisters and two brothers with my parents.
At the age of six years I started to bring goods with a handcart to the bazaar in Shoush ⁄ Tehran. I worked there for a long period and got a lot of experience, from time to time I also worked as a hawker. One has to make an effort in order to make money in this area.
My father runs a vegetable shop in the street so I had to assist for the housekeeping allowance and I did not just want to sit around at home. The money was not so important but rather the employment, because it was boring at home.
Outside there is everything and there is nothing at home and men do not want to stay at home.
I can only read and write a little bit and I have been trying to learn it for two years now. At the age of eleven, I attended the first class. A street worker approached me in the street and showed where I can learn something. Then I went there and took my sister, too.
My older brother is 18 years old and went back to Afghanistan. Actually, he wanted to go to Germany but the police at the Iranian-Turkish border detained him and took him to Afghanistan. Now, he wants to marry in Afghanistan.
I'm happy to learn reading and writing better now, because it's annoying when you can not read the road signs.
I'm happy most of all if I can do sports and my greatest wish is to become a good badminton player.
My parents are the most valuable thing for me and I'm afraid that I lose them or someone from the family. My father has 15 sisters in Afghanistan.
I want to become rich and support the institution where I am learning, so that other children from the street get help there.«
