english deutsch KILIAN FOERSTER
Majida, 13 years old, lives in a refugee camp in Iraq/Kurdistan, (please look also here and here and here)
»There have not been any major changes in my life, since we saw each other last.<< >>
The best moment in the camp was yesterday, when I spent my day with my class outside the camp and had a picnic.
Once I saw my uncle, who lives in a camp near Dohuk. Apart from that, I have not heard any news about my former relatives.
I don't want to go back to live in Sinjar. Only once I would like to go back to my old village, look at it and then I come back to Zakho, where I'm living now.
Nobody helps me to forget what happened in my past.
I remember very well my life before our escape from Sinjar. I would immediately find our old house if I go to my old village. Our house had a garden full of trees: We had olive trees, pomegranate trees and vines.
The best place in the camp is the school, there it is just nice.
Most of the time I stay inside the camp and when I go out I only go to the neighbouring fields and meadows.«
