ukraine children

Tima, 9 years old
»A year ago I left Makijiwka with my parents, grandparents and uncles and now we are in Kyiv, where one of my sisters lives.
During the trip to Kyiv everything was fine. This spring I visited my step-parents in Makijiwka and there I heard shots.
I've just finished the third class in Kyiv. We have Ukrainian lessons, but I had already Ukrainian at school before. When school is over, I play on the computer or meet my friends and we play together. I have also met a new friend in my school, but I did not tell him why I'm here. When I'm on the computer I feel happy.
I am not afraid. We have everything here and that's why I don't miss anything.
From Makijiwka I took my Lego game.
I don't know what I want to do after my schooldays.«
