english deutsch KILIAN FOERSTER
Rotislava, 12 years old, summer camp participant
»I have two brothers, my father is a soldier and my mother works as a coordinator in the summer camp. I am from Bakhmut.<< >>
I have terrible thoughts about the war. On one of my birthdays I visited a cousin and we went to the cinema. When we left the building again, a shooting started, which involved innocent children and elders.
My favourite subject in school is sports. We also have Ukrainian, Russian and English lessons. When the war started, we got hints at school that we should not stand next to the windows and listen carefully to our teachers when something happened. Now, we get only leaflets from UNICEF in order how to behave, when we find a mine and how to contact the police.
I especially like sweets and milk chocolate. My favourite times are holidays and birthdays or celebrations.
Only spiders and millipedes scare me. Above that the darkness frightens me. I really don't miss anything at all. I would like to have a dog, most preferably a female, white Pomeranian.
I also have friends in Donetsk and the DNR region and we talk about VK*. At first, the Ukrainian government tried to prevent this contact, but now it has been rebuilt and it's possible to reach your friends via VPN.«
* VK: VKontakte is a Russian, social network, that has been blocked by the Ukrainian government.
