»I have a brother and a sister and we always lived in Artemivsk. I just noticed the war here at the beginning, when there were shootings in the centre. There also was gunfire from GRAD's in 2015 and 2016.<< >>
During that time, we got safety lessons at school. From those I remember the form of mines, that we should not touch them and how we can contact the police quickly.
With my friends, I usually talk about things that we see on youtube. I also have many friends in the occupied areas and we talk to each other via VK. I have learned how VK works with VPN.
My father works for the clerical organization Emmanuel and has distributed food by order of this organization to affected people since the beginning of the war. Now, he works in the gray zone and distributes food there. Shootings take place there and once my father came under sniper fire on his travel to work.
His work has now become more dangerous and I'm afraid something will happen to him. At first, I was afraid of the shootings here in the city centre, but then I got used to them.
I just want the war to stop.«
