»I worked for twelve years as an architect and once I became a father and had hardly seen my children, I resigned from my job but I wanted to continue my work as an architect at a later date.<< >>
After the economic crisis started here, there was no longer any work for me in my old sector. I have never been unemployed, but I have always done different jobs, for example as a gardener, a badminton teacher or renovating houses.
Since this year I'm working in a supermarket and at the same time I have been working in apiculture for four years now. I started beekeeping from scratch and had to learn a lot. My father was already a beekeeper and a friend helped me, too.
It is beautiful work which I like and I was always impressed by my fathers bee stories. Last year I produced 550 kg of honey and my friend and I own 40 bee colonies, however we lost 10 colonies in the previous year. I would like to make a living from beekeeping, but it requires a lot of financial investment, which I don't have.
In my view, the crisis is an opportunity for the upper and rich class to show the poorer people where they belong to. Thus the poorer people are always busy working in order to survive and they have no time to reflect and to climb up socially and become a competition to the rich.
There will be no end to the crisis. Those, who are down, they will always have to work more.
In the future, I'll probably be glad that I spent my time with my children. My children should learn to live satisfied and modestly without getting lost in this capitalist world. And at age of 18 years they should be able to life their own lives.«
