»I have been working for five years in a bakery where I've learned the baking trade and I learn something new every day.<< >>
Besides I work with bees. I have had 24 bee colonies, some flew away and right now I have two colonies. Beekeeping fascinates me because I can do this work independently in the countryside.
The most important thing regarding bees is not the honey and the wax, but pollinating the plants. In the first instance I see bees as a way to preserve nature.
We can learn everything from the bees, because what is most important for human beings? To eat. Pollination and 60 per cent of our food is linked to this. We can learn from bees too, not to harm nature, for example with pesticides that kill bees.
Due to the economic crisis, more people moved again to the countryside and have rediscovered the importance of nutrition. Of course I am aware of the competition of the large scale food industry in regard to my honey, but I also want to give courses, keep animals and furthermore grow other things.
I think that people will again attach great importance to food in future and will prefer quality instead of quantity.«
