I started a business partnership with a friend for which we had to do first autodidactic training. Now we are renting a plot of land where we grow vegetables. We do this privately with our own money.
Previously I worked as a volunteer in drop-in centres and I always wondered what the people who came to us, were doing in their spare time.
There hasn't been an increase in the number of drug addicts as a result of the economic crisis. There were drug addicts in the past, too. However, the help for drug addicts has been reduced as part of the austerity measures. We built up a small network to sell our products and I design the packaging by myself and we try to grow rare vegetables. During the winter, we will grow cauliflower and make our plot of land more beautiful.
In my opinion, the mindset and the mentality of some people here have changed, for example there was an engineer at the weekend who came to me as a volunteer. She had resigned her job because she did no longer find any satisfaction with her previous activity on the computer.«
