Fadia, 12 years old, lives in Sardashti camp in the Sinjar Mountain

»I have five brothers and two sisters. My parents also live with me in the camp.
We have been living for five years now in the Sardeshti camp.
I'm from the village of Til Ezer. When Daesh attacked our village, we fled to the mountains. Then we climbed up into the mountains.
The worst part of this escape was that some of our people died.
It also makes me very sad that some of our acquaintances are still abducted.
I didn't have any school lessons this year, but next year I will go back to school. I already had classes in English, Kurdish and Maths in the camp, as well as in science and Arabic. I usually spend the days with friends. Sometimes we talk about our mothers, fathers and acquaintances who were kidnapped by Daesh.
I would get very angry if we were attacked by Daesh again. As long as I'm living, I will not forget what happened to me. At all times the terrible memories come to my mind.
I'm really happy when some of our people, who have been kidnapped by Daesh, come back and return to us.
I'm scared of a lot of things, especially when I hear the name Daesh. I have dreamed three times that Daesh attacks our camp on the Sinjar Mountains.
We took nothing from our house on our escape from Til Ezer.
My only wish is that all the people, who were displaced by Daesh, can return to their old home.
I would like to work as a teacher in future.
I would like to say that I miss things in the camp, we don't live here like in our previous house. We have lived in tents for five years and now some of the tents are in poor condition. When it rains the water comes through the roof of the tent.
I have a little sister and she is not feeling well. She always falls sick because her cradle becomes wet.«
